Why does my for loop print the last number twice?

for i in range(5):
    print(i)
print(i)
```

The output ends with 4 twice. Why does `i` still exist after the loop?

In Python, loop variables aren't scoped to the loop. After the loop ends, `i` keeps its **last value** (4), so the extra `print(i)` shows 4 again. If you don't need it afterwards, just don't use it outside the loop.
